Michael K. Stoskopf was born on March 21, 1950 in Garden City, Kansas. He received both his B.S. and his D.V.M. from Colorado State University, in 1973 and 1975 respectively. In 1986 Stoskopf received his Ph.D in Biochemical Toxicology / Environmental Health Sciences from Johns Hopkins University. Stoskopf has worked at North Carolina State University since 1989.
